National University of Maryland Welcomes Jiang Fusheng as Tenured Professor and PhD Advisor

The National University of Maryland is pleased to announce the appointment of Jiang Fusheng, a distinguished economist and academician, as a Tenured Professor and PhD Advisor. Jiang's appointment underscores our commitment to fostering global academic excellence and practical business acumen within our faculty.
 
Jiang Fusheng, born in July 1973 in Dapu, Guangdong province, is not only a celebrated economist and senior researcher but also a renowned scholar-entrepreneur. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Guangdong Hengsong Holding Group Co., Ltd. His academic pursuits include a notable role as a Visiting Professor at the School of Management of Capital Normal University.
 
A pivotal aspect of Jiang's illustrious career is his election as an academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences. This prestigious accolade highlights his significant contributions to the field of economics and management science, underscoring his international reputation as a leading expert in his field.
 
His extensive management experience began in the mid-1990s, focusing on enterprise strategy and capital operation. He has held prominent positions, including President of Lich International Jewelry Group Co., Ltd., a Fortune 500 company, from 1999 to 2002. He founded Huizhou Fusheng Drinking Water Technology Co., Ltd. in 2002, where he served as the Executive Director until 2016. Further expanding his entrepreneurial journey, he established Huizhou Just Information Consulting Co., Ltd. and later rebranded it to Guangdong Just Education Investment Co., Ltd.
 

Mr. Jiang's contributions to agriculture and environmental sustainability are notable. In 2020, he founded Guangdong Just Ru Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., where he led the cultivation of medicinal herbs and Qinan aloes trees over 1300 acres of land. His efforts in promoting sustainable agriculture align with the National University of Maryland's commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.
 
Recognized for his economic expertise, Mr. Jiang has been a member of the talent pool of Economists (Experts) of Guangdong Province and held positions as a standing director in various economic and entrepreneurial councils. His appointment as a Visiting Professor by the Business Model Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences since 2020 underscores his academic prowess.
 
Jiang's career, spanning over two decades, is marked by substantial achievements in enterprise management and educational consultancy. He has been at the forefront of several entrepreneurial ventures, showcasing his expertise in business strategy and capital operations. His initiatives in agricultural science and technology demonstrate a commitment to sustainable development, aligning with the National University of Maryland's focus on environmental stewardship.
